Where are you located and what are your operating hours?

North Vancouver: We are located near the waterfront entrance of the Lonsdale Quay Market, North Vancouver. Our hours are from 9am to 7pm everyday.

You can easily reach our restaurant within a 1-minute walk from the Bus Loop and the Seabus Terminal.

​

Downtown Vancouver: We are located at 980 Howe St. one block from Nordstorm and 7-min walk from the Vancouver City Center train station. 

Do you serve breakfast, lunch and dinner?

We have a range of selections for you to choose, from breakfast wraps and smoothies (served all-day) to healthy lunch bowls. All items are available all day, please see the hours of operation for each location

Do you offer both dine-in and take-out services?

We are a fast-slow-food restaurant that offers dine-in, take-out and delivery services. We focus on offering quick service for healthier menu options that are easy to take on the go. 

 

There are seating areas in both locations. The Quay Market particularly has a large dining area that can accommodate everyone from individuals working in nearby offices or living nearby to large parties that are looking for a place to hang out. Not to mention the patio seating/dining area beside the market that has a spectacular view of the waterfront, a truly perfect lunch spot in North Vancouver if you ask us!

Do you offer delivery?

Yes! We have partnered with UberEats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes for delivery in both locations - please click HERE to access the delivery platforms. 

Do you offer large party/events catering?

Yes we do! Please see our catering page for more info or if you need immediate assistance, please give us a call at (604) 924 5674.

Do you have a kids menu?

Of course! We have snack size smoothies for children to enjoy. Baby Monkey (tastes like chocolate ice cream but provides good nutrition for your kids) and Tutti Frutti (a truly sweet treat that tastes like candy that all kids will love) are two of our most popular smoothies among the youngsters  and popular afternoon pick-me-ups for the adults as well!


In addition, you can always order a snack size bowl, appetizer options and customize them the way your children would like them. 

Can I earn loyalty points for purchases made in-store?

Currently only at Lonsdale Quay location:

Each time you purchase a bowl, wrap or smoothie in-store, you will earn a loyalty stamp that will earn you a free smoothie or bowl. Once you reach 15 stamps, you can redeem for a standard smoothie or 20 stamps for a standard bowl. 

 

NOTE: Standard means the options available on the menu excluding added toppings, ingredients or boosters.

Can I customize my meal?

Yes! You can customize all menu items to your liking. You can add, substitute, or remove ingredients from our nutrition-led menu or create your own custom bowl, wrap, or even smoothie!

Do you have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options?

Absolutely! Our menu is designed with a focus on healthy, whole-foods and plant based ingredients. We offer a large selection of plant-based, vegan and vegetarian options. The majority of our menu options are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and nut-free.

Do you have organic options?

Yes, we have a wide range of organic ingredients for you to select from. Please let your server know to accommodate for your preference.

Are your dressings made in-house?

YES, we make all of our dressings fresh at the shop daily. You can now purchase these dressings to enjoy with your own salad at home.

Is your hummus made in-house?

YES, why buy hummus from the grocery stores when now you can buy fresh from our health bar. Our hummus is as traditional as it will get! Don’t take our word for it, try it yourself :) You can add them as a topping to your bowl and wrap or order it in a bowl so that you can store in the fridge and enjoy it with your favourite chips or bread whenever you crave it.

Is your food cooked from scratch?

Yes, we cook your food from scratch every day. We get whole vegetables, whole fruits and whole grains delivered to our stores, our team then dices, slices, spices and cooks in-house every day because food tastes better when it’s made fresh. More about our cooking methods here.


Warm bowls are served warm (perfect for keeping you warm on cold days), smoothies and salads are blended and mixed right in front of you. Our wraps are also made fresh to order. That means we use the ingredients from the bar and we grill the wrap for you right when you order them.

I have severe food allergies. Can I eat your food?

We take food allergies very seriously. While we can never guarantee that our food is 100% free of allergens, there are several steps that we take to minimize the risk of cross-contamination and offer some alternative options including gluten free, nut free and dairy free options. 

We take great care to process common allergenic ingredients such as nuts and soy separately to avoid cross contamination. Please specify with your server the nature and severity of your allergy.


NOTE: Despite all of this, there is always a chance of human error in prepping or cooking of food, or cross-contaminated food from suppliers. For this reason, guests should be comfortable with these potential factors before eating with us.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes we do! You can purchase a physical Gift Card at our shop or call us to request for an E-Gift Card.

Are your utensils and packaging eco-friendly?

We pride ourselves on sustainability and try to reduce our carbon footprints wherever we can, from waste management to the packaging of our food. We only use compostable packaging and encourage customers to bring their own bowl, cup and straw (a discount provided for every effort!). Our team at WELA Progressive Health Bar is committed to taking the steps to positively impact the planet and our food system with every bowl and drink that we serve.


NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 situation, we have discontinued our bring your own bowl program to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our location are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

What is the average wait-time?

Our bowl and wraps are ready within 5-7 minutes, and our smoothies are ready within 3-5 minutes. That being said, the wait time will also depend on the queue in front of you but our team is always striving to improve the speed of our service so that you can enjoy your food as soon as you order them.
